For better Readability/accessibility make/support better Button-Glyphs for Controller Inputs

Short version first:
Please add better intuitive readable buttons to the UI,
it helps players to quickly read the buttons to press, intuitively find their button more quickly, no matter whats the reason for their inability to remember where their X button is.
Showing a directional input X button is better than simply showing “X”.

Example (its from joke content, but the best image I could find with a quick search that shows the different layouts in one pic)
Lawful Good is way better than any other button prompt, because the player knows immediately its X, and its the bottom button on their controllers right side buttons, even if the button on their controller isn’t X (off-brand controller, different console, etc etc).

Long version:
I’ve been a gamer for the past 30+ years, growing up with Nintendo Consoles. I prefer the size of the Nintendo Pro Controllers over Playstation controller, I also used the Nintendo Contollers for use on PC.
Nintendo Controllers used to be really badly supported on Windows (Switch/Switch2 made it much better recently) the best method was using a tool that would force Windows to instead recognize it as an Xbox Controller (Emulate an Xbox controller, hide the original Nintendo Controller).
Now long story short, imagine having an Controller in hand, being used to buttons from Nintendo games, and on PC you have the switcheroo of it being seen as a Xbox controller now. Horrible. I could never trust any button prompts in any game. On some I was able to switch it to Nintendo Style, on most they were Xbox style. Being emulated as a different controller, some games actually were able to see the original controller instead of the emulated one, adding another layer to the button switcheroo.

Quicktime events were simply horrible. Press X? WHAT X? Playstation X? Xbox X? Nintendo X?
Or in this game: Gems and Runes. press X, press Y. Extract the rune, or remove the rune.
Always have to be extra careful because of my Face-Button-Switcheroo-Past.

Having played many different games, I have seen many games trying to show button prompts, and by far the best where games that showed button prompts like the “Lawful Good” shown above

Its clear with a glance what button to press, where its located, Even if you hold a controller that has for some reason different face-buttons.

Some games opted for a Grid Style button display, this however needs a complete revamp of the UI positioning and I can understand that this is not a reasonable suggestion. But its still a good example to show how showing position of buttons can really improve the buttons shown. Example for this from Assassins Creed, (Bottom left and bottom right):

The advantage of using actual button glyphs with directional display (Lawful good): even in quick time events and menu’s, you know where the button is, the “Grid Style” display of Assasins Creed doesnt help if Menus/Inventories/etc still show “Press X”.

Example of good button prompt even in quick time events, Bayonetta, (Triangle is at the TOP!):

And a secondary request: Add Nintendo Style buttons as an option, Xbox and Playstation are already in the game. But implementing the above suggestion would be much more preferable, because of the instilled Trust-Issues with “Press X”, even if the Buttons shown were correct.

another good example
Dragon’s Dogma 2

Symbols arranged like the controller (shoulder buttons as well). Symbols adjust to what controller you’ve connected or if you use a keyboard shows the letters of the keys bound to that action. You can change it ingame to another set of symbols.
