She gave me a hard time, it might be an issue with my build, but she is certainly beefy and hits like a truck. Plus, she can do a 180 during her wind up for a flurry attack, which feels off. Her flame spit attack is also quite hard to dodge. I’ve noticed a few times that the flame attack can hit you even when its visual is directed elsewhere, nowhere near your actual position. She definitely gave me more trouble than any warrick-the-thorn-alike boss in the overworld. What do you think?
for me this bounty is basically unplayable. haven’t tried it since the update, but before that her fire attack would tank my FPS s much, that i could not do anything anymore. I basically had to fight her very very close range every time, so she won’t do the fire AoE.
and yeah she is tough, but without the stutters and laggs it would be doable imo.
Don’t move away from her, dodging her physical attacks, or using a successful block are great ways to do this.I had a hard time beating her the first couple times too, but I found this way.
i feel that i live in alternative reality. This mob give me problems never, except once. The first. It´s right that point. Her attacks are hard and the buildground it´s limited. You must control your rolls for her hits. Patience in combat.
Its not that shes not doable, she just seems harder than any other bounty mob or boss, which is a bit strange
She’s really easy once you know how.
Stay close to her, hit her once and roll behind her, repeat, use your Rune attack when you can, eventually you will stagger her and you can go around her for a backstab.
Whatever you do, DO NOT ROLL AWAY FROM HER. If you open any distance she’ll do her fire breath move, which is difficult to dodge and hits super-hard.
Provided you never give her a chance to use fire breath and you don’t attempt to hit her twice in a row and block/stagger you, she is really easy.
OK, if you are REALLY struggling with the Plague Doctor, go super-heavy and repeatedly shoulder-barge her until she falls in the water/off the ledge and dies.
It’s cheesy, but it also hilariously funny.
