Better Way to Compare Weapon and Armor Stats

It would be really useful to have a better way to compare the stats of armor or weapons instead of the green or red arrow pointing up or down. Having both items show up side by side would make it much easier, like you would push a button while hovering over a weapon, and it would compare it to the weapon you have equipped by showing both their stats on screen.
