I dont understand what im supposed to see here, the wall is not becoming invisible so you can see whats behind it?

yep exactly, i got the feeling that some faders start too late. In this case there can also be an enemy at the end of the stairs so you see him too late (and its a chunky one).

Obviously the game cant know the intention of the player, maybe they’re doing faders only on position, but they could also maybe even check which direction the player is going or if an enemy behind that fader is engaged with him.

do they have from-to polygons mapped on the ground? whos knows. im just saying it needs to be tweaked a bit…
