If the game dies, it’s not going to be because of co-op.

Also how can a game that’s not released die? When they finally release 1.0 (not the patch), everyone who’s been waiting for co-op and and console release will buy it.

I think we forget this is an early access not full release.

It looks awesome. Even if it is for RP purposes and the camera reverts in combat, this pov is really nice for talking to NPCs and more cutscene and photo mode moments.

Yeah I think there are sections they could really use it for atmosphere. Talking to NPCs at stores, when using the anvil, cooking or other interactions.

Heck, doing this in dungeons could be awesome. Imagine walking through some of the dungeons with a more limited view and light bouncing off the walls. Then having a guy jump at ya.

I think where it would be inferior is multi enemy fighting. Looking for resources. PVP. Co-op if there is friendly fire on.

Don’t count on it, the entire game has been made with the top-down perspective in mind, environment becomes transparent etc to compensate for this. Adding a 3rd person camera would require a huge amount of work, probably assets needs to be redone, since it was assumed nobody would see them from behind etc.

But it would be AWESOME. But do you think it’s worth it? You think this feature would attract enough new players?

**Id have expected at least 2/3 years** to release everything they are planning, sooner sounds pretty rushed but we’ll see.

**Hopefully they dont do the “silly” move to release an uncomplete game just to respect a self imposed deadline** , and instead be ready to postpone if there are still things requiring polish.
