I think i’m coming to a point where the most efficient way to farm gear is just to take all my money, buy/craft a certain type of armor multiple times and just go to elenor, see if any of the 5-20 pieces are an upgrade and repeat. I mean sure, it’s good in a fashion sense as i am able to choose my style and not suffer any power. But i don’t know if this system is sustainable in the future of an ARPG like game. Ofc. i will have to regularly farm money to do that but if 70-90% of the gear you “drop” is from a merchant and not from looting enemies/chests then i don’t know about the gameplay loop. I’d rather have a higher drop rate, a transmog system and no infinite gear production/enchantment. Maybe crafting/buying could be a way to aquire only white gear which can also be viable. (if the gem and rune system gets better)
