After evoking 3 whispers, the 2nd whisper i evoked permanently became my respawn point (forgotten bridge) no matter if i interact with other whispers, as well as my spawn whenever i load into the realm.
Also happened here @Silas-Inservio-Pax i couldnt find if it was already reported
when i go to a different whisper and leave/rejoin from last whisper it shows the loading screen of the new whisper area but still loads me to forgotten bridge

I have a very similar problem. Out of nowhere I started respawning at the same whisper all the time (Sage Road). I didn’t do anything special before. The only thing i ca remember is opening the menu for upgrading a whisper, but I didn’t do it, and I am not sure if I opened the menu on that specific one or not.
Activating / Channeling another whisper or even upgrading one didn’t change the behavior.
Very cool game, but that is quite game breaking for me right now.
Please let me know if there is any known (even experimental) workaround.

I never found a way around it but something i haven’t tried i can think of is to look at your character’s .cerimal file and use the .cerimal editor to make a new character that’s the same as your old one
Thanks for the suggestion! I am quite new to the game barely 10 hours in, together with a friend. She also has the same bug now.
I think we will just try to continue the main quest line, reinstalling the game overnight etc.
If that doesn’t fix it I will try the new character suggestion in a few days
There is a known fix to it but you need access to a part of the game called the crucible which is late game, as people in the reddit post i linked found
I play the game in german. Is the crucible the area where you can use echoes under the graveyard? Because we just entered that quest and respawned at that whisper near the purple lake instead of the Sage Road whisper 
I will give an update if this actually fixed the bug in general.
EDIT:
So it turned out, activating the crucible whisper and entering a crucible run DOES indeed fix the bug for me and my friend as well.

Has this bug happened to you on a solo realm or a shared co-op realm or both?
I play on a shared co-op realm with one other player (private realm).
It happened to me too, in a solo realm.
