I was recently watching one of the aparences of Thomas in a podcast and i need someone on the team to check how V Rising deals with research for the game.

I have a HUGE issue with how economy works in the game right now. To test stuff EVERY ITEM requires a Research Paper investment, but there is no way to target farm Research Paper.

I would like to see something like the system Stunlock Studio did with V rising, where a resource is created through the process of making crafting material: turning a log into a plank also makes sawdust, and that sawdust can be turned into paper and then into the research mats.

I think its a really neat way to promote the creation and experimentation of new items.
