It’s been almost a year since I last booted up NRFTW and I wanted to jump in to see how much has changed. However, one thing I was rather confused about is my characters’ story progress seems to have been reset partially? They’re still at the same level with the same equipment (though it looks like I lost a LOT of gear I’ve been collecting) and stats, but I had to go back and re-do a few quests I swear I’ve already done before. Is there something big that changed that may have caused this or an update I missed? ---

Hello there , Crucible quest got changed in the crucible update ( july 25th 2024 ) you can start it as soon as you get to sacrament now . ---

I noticed the Crucible looks miles different than it used to! I have yet to beat the boss so im unsure how i feel about the changes considering most of the awesome loot i collected before (which has now vanished) was from the crucible. So that makes sense. I just thought it was odd I had to redo all of the rats and raiders quest all over again ---

if any quest on your realm besides “spoken and unspoken” got reset, then that’s a bug ---

i changed category to bug reporting. I also checked if this was reported before, since it sounds familiar, but it seems to affect another quest (not the quest progression that was reported before) it might help the team investigate the issue if you could provide your logfiles as stated here: [How to Properly Report Bugs!](https://forum.norestforthewicked.com/t/how-to-properly-report-bugs/32) if this occurs again you can also try to load a previous savefile from the affected realm ---

I advice you to erase every save you have, just a clean slate for the big update, that will make your previous saves obsolete, i think they said something about a legacy realm, but who will want to play an outdated game without the new areas and weapons? ---
