# \[Obsolete\] Bug, material regeneration

Bug, material regeneration.
It has been several days since the tree materials have not appeared again.
I have changed areas, entered caves, etc.
But I can’t cut down trees again because the resource is used up.
It’s been like this for like 3 days or more.

It feels the same on my realm. Ended play mid day yesterday, logged in today evening - very few mobs or resources respawned
it wasnt like this before so it got me wondering, not sure if its a bug tho or some intended change

I sometimes run into the same issue with my realm(s), especially after closing the game for the day/night and logging back in, it’s still the same state it was when I closed it.
Usually it will reset itself when I’m in the game / realm after some time.
Another thing regarding the realm(s) and their state is that when loading a realm from a backup, it doesn’t automatically save every 10 minutes. I’ve spent an hour idling after doing something that would change the realm (farming, killing NPCs) and it would not produce an updated save. My workaround was to quit to the menu, then hit “continue”, then once loaded in quit to desktop, then load the game back up and hit “continue”. After that the realm would save normally again.
MAYBE this and the realm not properly resetting sometimes are somehow connected?
Edit: Aside from the entire realm not properly resetting, there’s also weird partial resets. I went to do a farming run and would find chests and other lootables respawned, but no enemies. Sometimes enemies would be there, chests and lootables as well, but trees or ore nodes wouldn’t respawn.

Same situation.
Currently I’m trying to take some consumables to do some food and is not there, for me, the same stuff like @miisch , I can find chests and other lootables but no enemies or plants or mushroom.
Happy to not find enemies 😆 but not happy for the plants 😃

It keeps happening to me, my trees don’t regenerate.
I have already walked around the map many times, I have used teleport, entered caves, exited and entered the game. I’ve even gone 3 days without playing and it’s still the same. I’m a little tired

To this day it still happens to me.
I have created a new world and I have returned to my world 1 and everything remains the same.
this has made me stop playing
Is there no solution to this?

I just assumed the birch trees in Sacrament weren’t supposed to respawn. For what it’s worth, all other resources have respawned for me (unless I’ve logged out while standing next to one); it’s just the birch trees that have never done so—even when I’ve deliberately logged out when in a different zone.

this sounds similar to this bug report:

Have you tried the things suggested there:
1. before logging out, return to sacrament, do not stay near nodes/resources
2. log into each realm and back out.
3. try different characters
4. log in and stay logged into a realm for a longer time. (watch a movie or grind some crucibles in the meantime)
I tried to reproduce it, but for me everything works. so it seems to only happen sporadically. So far we (the community/players) have not been able to narrow down why or how this happens.
