Make enemies try to dodge your "spells"

“Spell casters” feel OP later on since they one shot enemies from a distance.

In order to make the game more engaging, maybe try to make enemies so they try to dodge your spells when they see it (the “seeing” part is important), just like us the players when we see enemy’s fireball coming right at us.

I know that this has the potential to create frustration for the players. At minimum, the enemies should not attempt to dodge by reading the player’s button input but from seeing the projectile coming at them.
