Same as Philliyxx, option 2 and 3 always says that no rolled back characters to restore. So we need to run the game while running this tool right? The first version won’t run at all. The v0.2 does run, but won’t restore the character for me. I tried restoring DataStore then tried it, or close the game and run the tool. All end up to the same result.
Unfortunately the data restore tool has previous version as the one after they lost their level…

Download the latest tool from the same link and try again. We’ve updated it to fix what is blocking you guys from restoring.

Ok so v.3 worked for me, and it didn’t. I had forgone that I would have to just relevel them and happened to be playing early beyond midnight last night to relevel/afk/whatever. I see this message after waking download the new tool, follow the steps at login screen with tool open. after you login they still initially show as level 1. then it asked you to select from the cloudsync which version to use when you try to join a realm. so my half awake brain selected the version from this morning for my level 30. long story short I should have selected the earlier one befor the bug. relogged and it was at the same place and not 30. Ok no harm no foul use the tool again and this time no message saying sync save mismatch, select which to use. This is on me for not being fully awake. I’ll try again.
restored my other charcter that was 24 to right version and it is no longer 1.
so impressed with how responsive y’all are being. trying to work this out. if i can’t get it worked out no biggie I had already leveled back to 14 just need 7? more levels to be able use my gear again. I know 30 takes a fair amount more time it’s ok it’s fun.
update to the update. shutdown computer, tried the tool again and it gave me the option to sync the level 30 to the earlier version in game chose the earlier february version and all is back to normal!
