This was an issue as I was accidentally hitting my rune attacks. It’s why I said “issue” because it’s more just a mistake issue than something I’d actively do with shield anyway. Just feel like having 2 things do the same thing can bring confusion. Unless shield will eventually have Rune capabilities? I understand though.
2 more bugs added - 11 & 12
Thx! Reported the 1st one for (V), but cannot repeat the 2nd one for (F): just remapped it for ‘Right’ and (D) for ‘Food’, works fine for me on both mentioned by you schemes. Also tried with (C) instead of (F) as long as you are writing about dropping down, but still no issue.
Can you please record a video?
Sure, will do in a bit and link it here.
If you need videos for other bugs lemme know.
Following @Greg_Maddox example with ESDF, if you try to move right you automatically drop down (still retaining a bit right-wards motion).
Ah okay, you ment dropping down while climbing… that’s smth I’ve missed) Okay, will try it, thanks a lot man!
UPD
Yeah, got it and also one more with a similar problem, nice catch!)
I’ll update the original post once I make full check up pass. Sadly upcoming raid tier preps in ffxiv kind of preempted stuff a tiny bit
Looking forward to it
With the new patch:
I re-bound block to be on right-click and shift to be movement speed change, but whenever I restart the game shift does both change movement speed AND block until I go into the keybinds and re-set block as right click.
Updated, some stuff fixed, at least two new issue discovered (inc. post above). @Nikita_Somin
How are you even getting bugs like 10 or 11 ? O_o
Oh we had more of these bugs during the development, so maybe these 2 just went further after an another change made to input and remapping.
Thx for the list, will go through it soon and text you if i have questions
Okay I checked the list and here’s the result just to let you know:
- Symbol bugs and Icon mismatch bugs were partially reported, so I added some missing buttons in our bugs. Don’t know whether NumPad buttons will be fixed or not in terms of having its unique icons (Num+, Num-, etc.), but I see your point here and agree they must be in the game as long as remapping feature is available
- Alt buttons very probably won’t be fixed, so for now consider it to be by design
- Dialogue skip button remapping is also by design, but we have a bug for making a dodge on skipping last line
- Known bug, just delayed it
- Also left such a feedback, but for now unfortunately it’s by design. I’ll see what we can do here
- Interact action remapping unbinds other action only when they are sycnhed with each other. If interact button uses a bing of an action which can be synched with interaction, then they both can use the same bind and interact will mostly have higher priority when it’s needed. If you find any pairs of action where Interact does not unbimd a button and actions have a 100% conflict with each other, then you can send me it
- We once discussed the issue with dodge being an on-release action and I got an answer that it can be fixed but needs time and deeper diving into techs. So it will be in future, but I can’t say why unfortunately. As for rebinding the action with some other button… now I see a problem here, probably I didn’t get you right last time, so thx for the report
- Don’t know actually, will ask our devs
- Yeah it’s by design, so you can bind it to some button or leave unbinded, it’s up to you
- Does not reproduce locally, will investigate, might be regression after our inout fixes
- Does not reproduce locally, will investigate, also might be regression
Last but not least, can you say what system language you are playing the game on? We noticed that languages other than English can have additional bugs, so it’s crucial to know in what language you usually play
Standard US. That aside I don’t think I have a single key not rebound =)
With 10 and 11 - just in case it wasn’t done - you have to restart the game completely, not just quit to the menu.
I’ll update the list later following your replies.
Well I tried both and game said “No, I will remain stable”
