The correct translation is ‘Piastre’ (‘Plate Armor‘ → ‘Armatura a piastre‘).
The actual translation ‘Piatto’ sounds like ‘Dish Armor’.
I find another: ‘roaring bear’ → ‘orso ruggente‘
