I understand having inventory management in certain games, such as a city builder or survival games for it is its own category of fun and it works.
And I can accept this game wanting to do something similar at least towards crafting and future farming/building etc.
However, for this type of game I can foresee a future where this will be a nightmare in respect of wanting to have different builds/enchantments/classes especially with some knowledge of how classes will be like in 1.0.
To my understanding what you equip as a weapon determines your class. So there will be people who hoards different weapons so they can play different playstyle when they want. Then there are gear with different facets/enchantments which I believe will be another point where players would want to hoard or keep for future builds/experimentation.
Hoarding weapons/gear with different facets is already a nightmare in its current form. and if you add gems/runes/enchantments/amber essences you can see where I’m going with this.
Just wanted to post hoping there will be some consideration in this regard. I sadly do not have a solution I can think of, only partial ones such as elden ring inventory system but it does not solve the multiple facets/enchantments problem.
