# Inputs from an Xbox controller are not responsive

My character doesn’t respond well to joystick movements, especially during tight turns. I often have to wiggle the joystick just to make the character turn. Also, about every two hours the game suddenly stops receiving all controller inputs until I unplug and reconnect it. I’ve never experienced this with other games, so there’s definitely something wrong with the calibration.

Open the map and try drawing a circle with the joystick, and you’ll notice that most of the inputs are ignored.

Perhaps the dead zones are too wide.

It’s more than that. My character keeps moving in the direction of the last input even after I release the joystick.
