As i understand some weapons have **innate elemental infusions** for example Plague for Rune Stricken Wand (altough im not certain since the only clue is sfx while attacking) or Fire for Stag of Embers Staff (of which im certain since it is.. well.. on fire 😅 ), i was wondering since it is possible to set a Plague infusion gem for the first or a Fire infusion gem for the latter if doing so would **increase the elemental damage/buildup** or was just a waste. On another note about this matter i would like to suggest to the devs the idea of puttin a symbol near the damage value of the weapon, like a little flame for fire infused and so on, in order to make unmistakable which type of damage the weapon is doing

I am not aware of it adding more build up for a weapon that is already innately infused (I think I understood your question right).

As for an icon to indicate what damage type a weapon has, that sounds like a marvelous idea. Please make a post about it in the Feedback section!

In some cases on a staff with innate elemental infusion you could make it have two different elemental infusions before the breach update, but the innate one would only get activated through a charge attack.

I don’t know if this was intended or if it still works on a staff with innate elemental infusion such as “stag of embers”.
