Heavy Armor Shove, and more

I think it would be a nice addition to the game for other weight classes to have access to a shove like mechanic. While not making them equivalent.

Shove is great, and fun to use and I can’t help but wish other weight classes had something similar.

That what heavy armor gains in defensive stats it loses in regards to dodge, however it gets access to shove. Which acts as a flinch mechanic to stop enemy actions.

Suggestion:
Heavy EQ Load, gives access dodge flop& shove
Medium EQ Load, gives access to dodge roll & knee
Light EQ Load, gives access to dodge dash & flying kick

This system would serve as an inverse to the dodge system as follows:

  • Shoulder, max poise damage (flinch enemy)
  • Knee, med poise damage (for combining with weapons)
  • Flying Kick, light poise damage and mobility (for combining and movement)

In addition to balancing dodge roll iframes (light = max, heavy = min), I believe this change would not only be fun to play but help to incentives different play styles and armor selections.
