Hi there.
I have this exact same issue. I just bought the game. Tried every fix i could find (including from this thread). Not starting a new thread, but I hope you have eyes on this issue… I’d really like to play the game.

i tried every fix at the moment, so i talk with the PT/BR João Oak from the official PT game discord, at the moment i give to him my arquives from the Appdata game and no solution already, aim gonna wait from some future updates to seek the solution…

and this xinput9_1_0.dll is a System arquive/dll,and that dll dont’s matter
if is inside or outside the games folder, only if is corrupted…

Good morning,everyone!
Wanted to share with you, that yesterday I just launched the game and it’s worked. I created the world, played for around 2-3 hours without crashing. I did’t do anything, just launched witchout any thoughts. Maybe there were some updates or fixes. Anyway, try to launch.

Today, I can play the game again.

Before that, I tried to remove some resources from C Disk (which is nearly full). I assume the game requires a certain amount of free space not only for the installation itself but also for temporary files or caching during the loading process.
I’m not sure if it is by hotfix from Dev or my try.

OK, there are a few “quick fixes” to attempt while we search for a more permanent one. These are not guaranteed fixes, but some have mentioned they got around this issue.

  • Xinput file the file is possibly corrupted, as mentioned Here

  • Nvidia Fast Sync

  • Windows Update, some have mentioned Windows 11, version 24H2 fixed some corruption issues.

  • Storage Space: It is possible that if the storage is too close to full, it is unable to write to that drive, causing startup issues.

If none of these work, please reach out so we can further troubleshoot the issue.

Nothing seems to have worked , still can’t play the game

Hello,

I’m adding my files to the thread. I tried verifying the integrity of the game files and reinstalling the game, but nothing worked. I’m playing with an Xbox controller and on the same PC that was able to run the game before this issue. I haven’t had a chance to try the few suggested methods yet.

When I have time, I’ll test those methods and share an update. I really hope to be able to play for the launch of the Breach. The work you’re doing is incredible, beautiful, and I can’t wait to discover more. Thank you!

Hello, I’m sorry to say that nothing has worked so far.

I’ve tried several of the solutions you suggested:
– Updated Windows 10
– Updated my Nvidia graphics drivers
– Reinstalled DirectX
– Downloaded and placed the xinput9_1_0.dll file in the game folder
– My graphics card is a GTX 970, and the Nvidia control panel doesn’t offer a “Fast Sync” option but changing the VSync settings didn’t help either
– There are 10GB of free space remaining on the hard drive where the game is installed

Still hoping for a solution, and wishing you strength for the final stretch before the next milestone. Keep up the great work!
