Since this patch I think they changed plague damage to give you life steal but I’m really not sure if it’s working. Can anyone confirm how this works?

When an enemy has the Plague status, you steal life when you damage them, but I couldn’t tell you exactly how much. From what I’ve tested, I’d say around 15%. I do believe, however, that the Plague status no longer inflicts damage over time.

Hard to tell when im playing honestly. Interesting re-work for the plague. I think they should put it back to damage over time and then maybe if you kill a plagued enemy you get life.

Agree to make it DoT (sort of like poison). I guess it could give life on kill but it’d need to be balanced so it’s not strictly better than fire damage

I think the intention is for each elemental damage type to have its own distinct character. Since fire is defined by damage over time, I believe they wanted to keep that exclusive. In return, you can now apply multiple elements to an enemy, and they can even be combined.

In my opinion, more variety is always better. Now you can choose between specializing in one element and strengthening it with unique advantages, or combining several elements and becoming more versatile.
