# Does anyone know what this grey droplet icon on the map means?

Hi everyone,

I noticed this strange grey droplet/diamond icon at the **top-left of the world map**.

It’s **not my cursor** , **not a custom marker** (I’ve never placed one), and I can’t find any information about it.

Does anyone know what it represents?

Is it a hidden location, future content, an internal map icon, or just a visual bug?

It just marks that the map there wasn’t discovered yet. The outline to the left of it serves the exact same function.

Sorry, I think there was a misunderstanding.

I’m **not talking about the fog of war**. I’m talking about the **small grey droplet-shaped icon** in the middle of the screenshot. It looks like a separate map icon.

Do you know what **that** is?

Thanks! You’re right, I was overthinking it. I really thought it was a separate map icon. Thanks for clearing that up!
