Contribution regarding the village and potions

Hello, here’s my contribution regarding the village. I have over 50 hours of gameplay.

I feel the inn needs some improvements to make it worthwhile. The same goes for the restaurant. For example, since these are places where people tend to socialize, merchants’ items should be cheaper if you spend time in these areas.

As for the economy, I like that money shouldn’t be in excess. To make it more thematic, each shop should buy items associated with its profession at full price, and if it’s not associated, they should only pay half price. The general store should always buy everything at full price.

The axe, pickaxe, fishing rod, and shovel should cost more to repair as their level increases, encouraging more use of crafting or using items found throughout the game.

Crafting weapons should grant an additional skill, like in the Crucible, to further incentivize crafting.

If I sleep, I’d like the day-night cycle to change, and for merchants not to work at night, or at least not all of them.

There could be a black market, run by some rebel, that’s hard to find. For example, rumors could circulate about where they might be at the inn, and they’d buy everything at double the price.

Potions could have quick access so I could ingest several at once. I already had several that complemented my build. Or I could select which ones appear in the quick menu. And if there’s toxicity, that would be interesting.

The possibility of repairing items myself, using materials, depending on the builder’s level, for example.

I would actually consider that if they changed the plagued downside “Unrepairable” into “only self repairable” with a unique repairing mini game and self repair station/furniture tied to it

I disagree and this mechanic sure sounds immersive indeed, but it would just ruin the gameplay.

However i still like the idea of a city that is highly active only during the night instead

In fact, I repaired more often using the repair rune. One of the things I like most about the game is paying attention to the areas while moving from one point to another to collect resources, but in the endgame, I have all the buildings, and in my case, I didn’t craft weapons because I found them and modified the enchantments, so there’s not much need for materials anymore.

I like the idea of the minigame; it can be difficult with the timing of the deflect, and if you fail, you lose the weapon.

When it was nighttime, I wondered, why was everyone still awake? But on the other hand, I liked that I wouldn’t have to wait for daylight or wake them up. I understand the gameplay aspect. At least the sleeping part, I think it could be changed to day or night since it would only be a visual change.
